Welcome to the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas

We help our donors establish long-term charitable funds, using the most tax-advantaged methods, to benefit their causes and our community. 

The Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas was founded in 2001 by a group of citizens interested in encouraging philanthropy and strengthening communities.  Since the, the CFSEK has awarded over $3 million in grants through its donor advised, unrestricted, designated, field-of-interest, scholarship, and organizational endowment funds.  As a local center for philanthropy, the CFSEK works with individuals, families , corporations private foundations and not-for-profits organizations to carry out their charitable objectives and address emerging community issues.  It is one of more than 700 community foundation in the country and is a member of the Council on Foundations and the Kansas Association of Community Foundations.  The CFSEK is an affiliate of the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation.
