On behalf of the CFSEK Board of Trustees and staff, welcome to the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas.  We encourage residents of the area to think about giving---by making long-term financial investments in our communities.  For more than seven years, the CFSEK has helped our residents by providing the needed tools and resources to make meaningful and lasting gifts in ways that are easy, flexible, and personable.

As proud members of the southeast Kansas area, we have a deep understanding of the challenges and needs here, and we are working hard to meet those needs.  Since inception, through the help of many donors, we have given over $3 million in grants meant to enrich and benefit the lives southeast Kansans.  Our assets continue to grow as well with strong indication that we will soon reach $7 million in funds under management.  The CFSEK looks forward to continued growth as it connects people and their philanthropic passions, merging dreams and resources to build better communities throughout our area. 

Good things for our communities result from individual charitable intentions.  However, great things unfold when partnerships are formed.  That’s the role of the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas.  By bringing people together, the CFSEK is able to multiply funds and resources.  The outcome is increased support for various organizations, issues, and opportunities that shape our area’s future. 

It is a wonderful time to be a part of the CFSEK.  Together, we are making a significant difference in the quality of life of southeast Kansans.
